We operate in the UK and abroad, offering resources, events, and community-led activities to foster awareness and prevention.

Becoming a member is simple: click JOIN DAFREE COMMUNITY  and you’ll be taken to our DAfree Skool community. There, you can create your account and instantly connect with others who are learning, sharing, and growing together. 

The DAfree Journey is a 9-level path of awareness where every step unlocks resources. You level up by engaging with the community, learning, and sharing. 

Anyone who has experienced or witnessed domestic abuse, directly or indirectly, can share a story. We especially welcome voices from survivors, supporters, advocates, and frontline workers across different cultures and backgrounds. Every life matters. 

Yes. All stories are treated with strict confidentiality. You can remain anonymous, use a fictional name, or approve edits to remove any identifying details. We may also change names, locations, or imagery to ensure your safety and privacy. Nothing will be published without your consent and approval.

Consider whether you want to share your story publicly or keep it private, and decide if you prefer to do so under your own name or anonymously. Publishing your story is not a requirement for joining the DAfree Community. 

DAfree provides:

• Survivor-led workshops and events
• Campaigns to raise awareness and promote prevention 
• Creative platforms for storytelling and engaging

DAfree is not a domestic abuse service. If you are experiencing domestic abuse or if you are concerned about a friend or a family member, help is available, please visit our red flag checker page to seek help from competent organisations. 

DAfree is not an emergency service: We are a community for awareness and education.

If you are safe but need help, please get in touch with us and we will signpost you to trusted hotlines and organisations that can offer the right help.
