With more than 25 years of professional experience, 

Serena is an accomplished researcher and senior consultant. 

She has conducted in-depth studies on Coercive Control and Domestic Abuse, gaining a deep understanding of abusive behaviours within families, intimate relationships, and among former partners. 

Her work highlights not only the complexity of these issues but also the urgent need for ongoing research, systemic change, and broader public awareness that goes beyond legal frameworks.

Serena is dedicated to raising awareness and driving positive change in the community. She brings together individuals from diverse socio-cultural backgrounds, merging her fashion vision with a meaningful social cause. Through DAfree, she advocates for greater understanding of what constitutes unacceptable conduct in domestic environments and works to break the cycle of abuse. 

Her mission is to promote healthier family relationships for future generations, regardless of sex, ethnicity, culture, or religion.
